X-Factor heart throb, Olly Murs, sent the capacity crowd into a frenzy on Sunday 3rd January at City nightclub Falkirk. Excited fans arrived early to try and get a glimpse of Olly and were treated to an awesome performance by the up and coming star. Olly did a meet and greet with fans in City’s VIP lounge while the crowd in the main club were warmed up by the beautiful Scottish girl group “Kitty Kat Dolls”. Fans both young and old (oldest was 85 years young....) rushed to reserve their place as near to the stage as possible. The packed club patiently waited and chanted his name just before his imminent arrival, followed by deafening screams as he bounded across the stage. Olly performed several songs such as his classic versions of “Twist and Shout” and the now famous “Superstition” (complete with funky moves!!) he also included an accapella version of “King of the swingers” the Jungle Book classic and he tantalized the audience with his beat boxing skills. After talking to Tracey McRorie, one of the CLG Directors, she described the night as “amazing” and “One of the best crowd reactions to an act, that we have ever put on, awesome!”. Keep your eyes peeled for other up and coming events at City to be sure you don’t miss out. To view the full Olly performance click on the links below and check out the YouTube video!
